Dolores Rivera, 83, passed away on May 4, 2017 in Stockton, CA. She was born on September 28, 1933 in French Camp, CA. Dolores was a lifelong resident of Stockton, CA. Dolores is preceded in death by her loving husband of 57 years John Rivera, her parents Raymond and Juanita Freeman, siblings Frances Freeman, Bernice Duarte, and Raymond Freeman. Dolores is survived by her 6 children; Robert Rivera, Gloria Leiva, Mary Perez, Johnnie Rivera, Kathy Camarillo, and Linda Rivera, sister Josie Gayton, also 28 grandchildren and 40 great-grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces and nephews....

Dolores Rivera, 83, passed away on May 4, 2017 in Stockton, CA. She was born on September 28, 1933 in French Camp, CA. Dolores was a lifelong resident of Stockton, CA. Dolores is preceded in death by her loving husband of 57 years John Rivera, her parents Raymond and Juanita Freeman, siblings Frances Freeman, Bernice Duarte, and Raymond Freeman. Dolores is survived by her 6 children; Robert Rivera, Gloria Leiva, Mary Perez, Johnnie Rivera, Kathy Camarillo, and Linda Rivera, sister Josie Gayton, also 28 grandchildren and 40 great-grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She worked for Del Monte for over 20 years and volunteered as a foster grandparent at CYA. Dolores loved her family and had a big heart for her grand-children. She was a die-hard 49er and SF Giants fan and loved having family gatherings and enjoyed dancing. DeYoung Memorial Chapel is honored to serve the Rivera family. Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 18, 2017 from 2 - 6 pm followed by a Rosary at 6 pm at DeYoung Memorial Chapel, 601 N. California St. Stockton.
