At the age of 93, Frances Mabia Villamor, beloved Mother and Grandmother, passed away peacefully in her home on January 22, 2018 surrounded by her family after a short battle with lung cancer. Born in Hilo, Hawaii on December 4, 1924 she was the oldest child of Gabino and Petra Mabia. The family relocated to California where she later met her husband Vincent Villamor at a Filipino Youth Association dance in Stockton. They began dating after he got a job working with her and her father who was a contractor. On May 3. 1943 Vincent and Frances were married and started a family right away welcoming their four children, Conrad, Lorena, Vincent Jr., and Anthony. They later relocated to Sacramento with their youngest son while Vincent worked at McClellan Air Force Base for 49 years. For over 20 years Frances helped coordinate and run the Southgate Jiu-Jitsu Club where Vincent taught as a Martial Arts Sensei. She was a vital part in the lives of her family and grandchildren and there was never a time when she wasn't there for her family. She is a breast cancer and uterine cancer survivor and fought a courageous battle against lung cancer. Frances is preceded in death by her parents Gabino, Petra, and step-father Honorio, younger siblings Johnny, Mary, and Tony, two children Conrad and Vincent Jr., and her husband of 75 years, Vincent, who she has been reunited with after 15 long years apart. She is survived by her daughter Lorena (Sam), son Anthony, 11 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, and 15 great-great grandchildren who will all miss her dearly. The lives she has touched are endless and although we are saddened to say goodbye, we are proud of the legacy she has left in this world. The Rosary is on January 31, 2018 at 5pm at DeYoung Memorial Chapel in Stockton CA. Mass of Christian Burial will be held the following day, February 1, 2018, at 10am at St Mary's Church, Stockton CA. Final resting place will be San Joaquin Catholic Cemetery, Stockton CA.
